individual and group lessons to all ages and levels. Plan daily classroom work and assignments based on teaching outline prepared for course of study to meet curriculum requirements. Evaluate students’ interest, aptitudes, temperament, and individual characteristics to determine suitable pedagogical cello music for beginners, elementary, intermediate, and advanced level students. Play instrument (cello) to demonstrate musical scales, tone color, rhythm, and appropriate interpretation for different styles of music. Instruct students in music theory, harmony, score and sight-reading, simple composition, and music appreciation. Arrange and judge in recitals; etc. Must have Master of Music in Cello Performance.
