Kevork Esmeryan is a Bulgarian-born violinist whose musical journey began at the age of six. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the National Academy of Music in Bulgaria, studying under the esteemed violinist and pedagogue Stoika Milanova. During his studies in Bulgaria, Kevork gained recognition as a soloist, performing with the State Opera Stara Zagora, the AGBU Chamber Orchestra, and the Armenian Chamber Orchestra, Plovdiv.
Continuing his education in the United States, Kevork pursued advanced studies at the University of Tennessee, where he served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for 4 years. He is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at the University of North Texas, working under the mentorship of Prof. Julia Bushkova, and serves as a Teaching Fellow. Alongside his academic commitments, he actively performs with several professional orchestras in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
An educator with over nine years of teaching experience, Kevork is passionate about fostering musical growth in students of all skill levels. His adaptable teaching approach integrates elements from various violin methodologies to tailor instruction to each student's unique needs and goals.
