Grace Han is a jazz/pop/Contemporary Christian music vocalist. Raised in South Korea, Grace started singing at the age of 9 and built her music experience singing in churches and was trained with classical methods. After coming to the states at the age of 16, she realized that her ultimate goal in her life was to be a musician. Subsequently, she majored in jazz vocal performance at University of North Texas under two amazing jazz educators, Rosana Eckert and Jennifer Barnes.
Not only Grace has earned a great amount of knowledge of vocal pedagogy and piano skills, but also learned about vocal arrangement under Professor Jennifer Barnes. During Grace’s Junior and Senior year, she had joined both ensembles Avenue C and Jazz Singers and had been awarded as Downbeat 43rd and 44th annual student music awards.
After graduating from University of North Texas, she went back to her home country and worked at Kumnan Methodist Church as a worship singer recording albums and Youtube contents. Now she is back in the states, and performs in venues singing different kinds of genres, especially pop and Disney music. She is passionate about connecting with her students and guiding their musical growth across various genres, including jazz, pop, classical, and musical theater.
