Danielle Harrington is a soprano and voice teacher based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of North Texas, where she was a soprano section leader in the UNT A Cappella Choir and a member of UNT Vox Aquilae. During her studies, she was named a finalist in the NATS Texoma Region competition and was featured as a soloist in works by Bach, Schubert, Telemann, and more.
An active performer, Danielle sings with the professional ensembles Verdigris, Orpheus Chamber Singers, Highland Park Chorale, and the Christ the King Singers.
As a private voice instructor in Lewisville ISD, Danielle’s students have earned significant achievements, such as earning spots in the TMEA All-State Choir, All-Region Choir, and various Honor Choirs. Her students have also received Superior ratings at UIL Solo & Ensemble, earned Outstanding Soloists awards, and many have held lead roles in musicals.
In addition to teaching, Danielle has been a Soprano Voice Fellow at Lutheran Summer Music, where she has performed as a soloist and section leader. She is also an active church musician, serving as a staff singer and cantor at Christ the King in Dallas.
Danielle’s teaching fosters a pedagogical approach that is individual to each student’s goals, personality, and circumstances. Danielle is passionate about developing young singers and fostering confidence, technique, and artistry in their musical journeys. She pushes singers to grow in their technical abilities while also encouraging them to always find fun while working with their instrument.
